Dear Friends,
From those whom much is given… much is expected. We at Taco Bell are well aware of how very fortunate we are. From the humble hopes of an ambitious entrepreneur, we have grown to a multi-national brand that every day enjoys the great privilege of serving people around the world. So with great success comes the responsibility – the obligation – to pay it back and pay it forward. We think one of the best ways to do that is by helping young people make those important early choices that are so critical to laying the foundation for a sound successful future. Accordingly, we have selected the Boys & Girls Clubs as our community service designate. The Boys & Girls Clubs fundamental mission is to aid our children, often at risk, in navigating those frequently challenging teenage years. The Club provides a range of support services, some sophisticated, and others very basic, that can help young people as they struggle to make the transition from the teen years into becoming productive, contributing adults. The Club’s mission aligns perfectly with our national foundation’s chief goal: to focus effort in helping young people graduate from high school. We know that this achievement, seemingly something so many of us take for granted, is becoming much more uncertain among many of our young people. Yet this singular accomplishment so often makes a crucial difference in the future prospects of our country’s kids. So we’re throwing our support behind the Boys & Girls Clubs in a very big way, because they are on the front lines of the war to help America’s kids. Kids that are members of the Boys & Girls Club graduate at nearly 40% greater rate than at risk kids who are not club members. Club kids are often taken out of harm’s way and placed in productive, nurturing environments. They are given a chance… a much better chance to realize their full potential. Therefore, the New York Taco Bell Owners Association proudly presents the Fourth Annual Taco Bell Big Apple Charity Golf Classic. This annual event will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. We have selected this premier facility as it is our intent to present a premium event to advance a cause with the highest purpose and priority. It is with great anticipation and expectation that we extend an invitation to our business friends and colleagues to come together in fun, fellowship and to lift your hand with ours and join in supporting the New York/New Jersey area Boys & Girls Clubs. We promise you an experience that you’ll find both satisfying and memorable and from which you’ll take no small measure of pride in saying “I was there”.
